I love hats!!!

I've only been knitting for 11 months and I've knitted 13 hats   Grin

baby hats, jayne hats, cabled hats, fruity hats, stripped hats, all kinds of hats.

But this one is lots of fun!

I made it from a free pattern http://rsveverka.com/chileconyarne/2008/04/baby-viking-hat/ and up sized it to fit my hubby.

Doesn't he make a terrific model?

The yarn was relcaimed from sweaters for both the helmet and the horns.  (Meaning the sweaters were disassembled and unwound to reuse their yarn, so in following the rules, I did use string and sticks, not fabric)

It was a fun project, and I think I'll make me one to match his.

He does make a great...though a little scary model! That hat seems to suit his personality perfectly! Oh and super kudos for knitting for 11 months and getting 13 hats!
