I absolutely ADORE these slippers and want to make them for all my female relations for Christmas..... I think I must be the only one confused by the strap & button? I've never used buttons in my crochet work and I'm not exactly clear about the strap assembly.... can anyone help me out a bit?

I'm also a bit caught on Round 7's wording... I'm guessing we're supposed to do a few decreases? But round 7 isn't quite clear: Round 7: Make one dc in then next 20dc.(pink)
