I was hoping to get some ideas about easy to make things to go into a bar that is sports themed.  I've made some rags that my husband has decided to use as placemats.  I don't want to do more rags, and I can't think of other easy things to make.  I thought about seat cushions, but I am not sure we want to go that route.  He also mentioned he'd like a penant, so I might make a penant out of some extra fabric.  Any ideas?

My mom embroidered can and bottle koozies for my Dad's bar and it helped everyone to keep track of which one it their drink. Perhaps you can hand embroider different sports equipment on different koozies.
Some possible items could be:
Soccer balls
Foot Balls
Tennis balls
tennis rackets
football helmet
running shoes
base ball
baseball mitt
basket ball and net
etc

How about coasters? Or a shadowbox full of sports items?

What about the tables?  You could arrange collages of pictures cut out from Sports Magazines and newspapers and seal them.  Then, lay down glass for the table surface.
