My son loves Angry Birds, and has been pestering to make him the pig for months now. Since it's getting to be hat weather around here, I thought I'd kill two birds (pigs?) with one crocheted stone.

I did a simple single crochet round for the hat body.
Two small circles for the eyes, and an oval that i just kind of made up as I went along for the nose.
The ears are in the round in half-double crochet (5, 10, 20, 20, 10, 10).
I then sewed black felt nostrils, pupils(?), and inner ears on,
Whipstitched all the pieces together, add a couple eyebrows...

...and popped it on his head.

His kool-aid-stained smile tells me he appoves Smiley

This is amazing. You should make a birdy one and then the wearers can chase each other around in a kind of 'live action' angry birds Smiley

I love this! My bf and I are big kids... .was there a pattern for the pig and bird? I'm a basic crocheter and knitter.

I bought the bird pattern on ravelry, but the hat I basically just made up as I went. I've never attempted to write a pattern, but I can try to get my thoughts into some sort of cohesive guideline for you. It's almost completely single crochet with simple increases and decreases. I'll edit with a tute in the next few days...

That is SO cool! My girlfriend just requested a dark green angry birds hat and a black angry birds hat for her son. I hope mine comes out nearly as good as yours did. That is gorgeous!
