Inspired by so many posts on this forum, I decided to make a pair of my own comic book shoes. I wanted a going out pair, so bought some shoes with a nice, small heel. They have a cute bow on, and a small band across the toe area which I left undecoupaged for effect.

They were a soft leather, so I gently sandpapered the upper to give a better base for the comic book. I used the outdoor mod podge, but plan on sealing with a coat of clear paint.

I know this isn't an original idea, but this is my take. I didn't take a before pic  Undecided

How did you get that clean line where the paper and the bow are meeting?

Wow--they look like you bought them that way--love how you handled the bow area--very neat and clean...I had no idea there was an outdoor mod podge!  Thanks for posting!

Very cute

Aww thanks guys  Kiss

Riechan: I lined up the comic with the edge of the shoe, then scored it with the edge of a pair of small scissors. I had to do this before I stuck the comic down.

Those are really cute and well done. They look like you bought them that way in the first place Smiley.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.
