Yay, my favorite holiday!  And an extra excuse to make creepy, spooky stuff...

Hey! Finally found a use for all of those black t-shirt scraps!  Except for the waistband, it's just little loops of fabric "chained" together.
This took me about 18 hours of cutting and tying.  Rough work on the fingers!
Anyway, it reminds me of Swamp Thing...

This one is my favorite! Made from an Andy Warhol t-shirt and some of that melty-holey mesh from Joann's. It's a good thing I bought two of the shirts, because I probably would have never cut it if I only had the one... me and my hoarding!

More scraps and cheesecloth! It's just a basic skirt with a bunch of long strips sewn around it in 3 layers. It's awesome for twirling!

This was a shirt, but I thought it'd look cool with the spider crawling up your leg. Smiley

Yes, those are gold chainsaws. I had to have this shirt when I saw it. The back panels are made of some gold splatter knit... because gold chainsaws don't splatter blood!

Your Swamp Thing skirt is very innovative!  You sure put in a lot of work, but I love how you used your little scraps of black (poor fingers!)...

Love all of your designs...just so creative as always

Love these, especially the spider!!! I have the same problem as you with the andy warhol shirt. I always hate working with some amazing fabric/shirt or whatever. What if I think of something that would look better later? What if I mess it up? I end up buying as much as I can or storing it until the perfect project comes along. Thats why my shelves are exploding with craft supplies:)

Amazing work. I always look forward to seeing what you make, especially around halloween, and you definitely rocked it this year!!!

Thanks everyone!!  Sometimes I get kinda bummed out about Halloween, it seems to get less and less fanfare every year. But crafters know!

Love, love, love them all but especially the knife dress. Also, your necklace is beautiful.

Thanks! It was made by HeadlessTessDiY.  She makes the best jewelry!

I don't mind at all! I wouldn't have gotten the idea if I hadn't seen someone else that had made a chain necklace of scraps!

On top of great fashion sense you also have beautiful hair. (lol sorry had to point that out)
I was wondering was there a certain length you cut the strips for the third skirt or was it just different sized scraps?

Oops sorry, I must have forgot to post the link!
Here's the back:

Haha, thank you! My new-found hair secret is to LEAVE IT ALONE! I wish I could go back to high school and tell myself to quit fussing at it with the blowdryer and the straightener.

The scraps were completely random lengths... I'd guess anywhere from 5" to 20".
