Krafty, your posting is so intriguing, I'm tempted to ask to be partnered with you just to see what you're talking about??!

But in a similar note, I figured out my theme and will also have a particular request of my partners.

Demanding, aren't we?   Wink

lol

you might say that.  Wink

and audio, lolcats would be so freaking fun to do!  I love lolcats.  have you checked out the lolcat bible translation?  Cheesy

This sounds very interesting.  I don't know of anywhere close to me that would sell blank puzzles so I have a question about using a real puzzle.  Would we get our partners to decorate the back or decorate over the front?

We're on craftster because we love to create. Why should we settle for what we currently are?

I think most people had the fronts decorated but you can choose whichever one you prefer.  But be sure to chose one or the other so everyone's on the same side.

it's up to you, the owner of the puzzle.  most of my partners in the last swap (including myself) did the picture side of the puzzle, while one had us decorate the cardboard side.  so it's really up to you.  if you have a Jo-Ann Fabrics near you, they have blank puzzle cards.  they come in a package of 6 puzzles and 6 envelopes.  that's what I'm using, but the pieces are sort of small-ish.  that's my puzzle in the initial post by bunnyface.  it's 6.25" x 4.5".  one girl in the last swap gave each of her partners 2 pieces that fit together and they had the option of making 2 different pieces or one big piece.  that's what I'm doing this time, but I'll be able to get to 3 different craft stores on Friday and Monday, so I'll be looking to see if I can find any bigger blank puzzles.  if not, I'm happy with what I've got.

Yay - just sent my info. Even though it is during finals for me too, it's a good distraction. I study/write/research for an hour, paint or glue something, another hour of study/write/research, paint or glue something else. It works for me that way. And the built-in drying time is perfect for doing one or two projects at once.

Thanks bunnyface!

How many pieces should the puzzle we buy have on it?
does it matter?

Your puzzle can have as many pieces as you want!  And you can definitely use a regular kids' jigsaw puzzle, I just happened to have some blank puzzles that I inherited when my mom retired as a school teacher.

For people who participated in the last round of the swap, I'm going to try to mix up the groups so that you can swap with people you didn't get a chance to swap with last time.

Ok, everyone who's sent in their questionnaires should be all up to date now.  I'm glad to see some return swappers from Round 1!
