As Halloween is on its way I thought this would be a more than appropriate project!
This is my first sweater, and I have to say I'm happy with it.

I don't usually roll my eyes back for pictures! Tongue ah well

Yah! check out my pipes!

This is from Stitch n' Bitch. It was a good first sweater as you learn 3 different bind off methods!

I did have to pick up the stitches on the bottom and make it a bit longer. Unfortunately I ran out of the gray wool hence the contrasting bottom. Also I made the neckline a bit to tight in the front.
Any suggestions on how to fix that would be appreciated.

I like the contrasting bottom! It looks really cute on you, even if you do look a little demonic;)

I love that! What a neat sweater, and it looks cool on you Smiley I love the first photo, I'm always doing something like that. Or talking or eating! If you want a photo of me you'd better give me a good amount of warning... Hee hee!

Yours looks great!!  I did that same sweater as my first sweater, but mine turned out HUGE.  I have now frogged the entire thing and recycled the yarn into a new, different sweater.  But if mine had been as cute and fitted as yours I would have worn it all the time!  Great job.

Nice work, I wouldn't know it was your first sweater!
My first sweater turned out huge.  It fits better now that I'm prego.

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

It looks great, I never wouldve known it was your first sweater and I love that pattern! One day I will be brave enough to knit the things in my Stitch & Bitch books, lol
