My costume for Anime Banzai which was last weekend. It was awesome! Although my dress ripped in a few places D:

Anyway, this is an *original design* Princess Zelda... I looked at some canon designs (mostly Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time) and then decided to make my own. It turned out almost exactly as I planned, hooray! It features a steel-boned and busked corset (my first "real" corset), screenprinted banner, and craft-foam armor.

(without my wig on, also missing half my face)


At the dance with a Link I didn't know XD

Anime Banzai also featured a Pajama Party contest... you had to design what your character would wear as pajamas! I was totally excited for this and made a Zelda nightgown. The skirt is a circle skirt (very good for twirling) with triforces I screened all the way around the bottom. I'm really proud of it and guess what? It won!

I'm not much of a Zelda fan, but I always love seeing awesome cosplays and original designs for characters. Smiley You look fabulous in both outfits!

This is definitely getting a "This Rocks!" from me. Smiley

This looks FANTASTIC! The original costume design is gorgous and the nightgown is so cute I'd totally wear it all the time!! Awesome job!!

Well I freakin love Zelda lol! These are awesome, the dress is a great take and the nightie is soooo cute. I would totally wear it Cheesy I'm so thrilled you won, good for you!
