Frogs and cats: such a cute combination!
I wanted a cat door in my new apartment to keep my own door closed and - in this way - the cold outside. See topic to understand more about the apartment http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=319994.0
You can see there's a large blue beam behind the frog's mouth. It's about 4 metres (13 feet) high, so their way out is very exclusive  Smiley The beam leads towards a big window with complete garden-overview.
Here are my kitties using it:
And this is how it looks in the room, for size reference:
I love how it turned out, my apartment is really not finished yet but it's nice to feel it's all coming together slowly  Smiley

We all make mistakes, and then when you've made enough, they call it experience.

That's awesome!  I have cat door in the wall that separates the finished and unfinished part of my basement.  I think it would be really fun to paint something silly for the cats to come out of!  Grin

Ha! I'd constantly be asking that frog, "cat got your tongue?"  That's so clever and creative and functional!  I love how the cats look like they're queuing up to go out in the 4th photo.

If you haven't seen this book I recommend trying to have a look. This is just the kind of thing they've done in their home.
