Awesome, and what a crafty idea!

I'm so trying this out one night. I wonder if just heating him on the stove would work because I don't feel like clearing out al the baking trays from my oven.

Is anyone else having a hard time finding marbles? I've been to Michael's floral department - and the kids department at Fred Meyers and haven't had a bit of luck!!

oh- and to Joann's too.

The decorating area of Target has some plain marbles that are meant to be used in vases, those work pretty well.

These are beautiful! I wonder if dipping them in clear resin will help strengthen them to avoid future fall apart...

My husband a I tried this - and I dont think we let the marbles get hot enough the first go round - so after we submerged them in water - we reheated them and then resubmerged them. It totally didn't work. We actually had  a couple of them burst all together.

Guess we got impatient!! Smiley

Finally found the marbles at Walmart. I tell ya, that store generally has everything a person could need.

For those having a hard time finding marbles. I know that Dollar Tree has them in their crafting area, in fact that is where I got the blue and clear ones I used.
