They're stunning and the pics really don't do them justice.  They're the first think anyone comments on when they see the nursey =)  I'm a lucky lucky girl.

I am so impressed by the flawlessness of the color. It looks so smooth! There's no thin parts or paint lines - it's like an animation cell or something. Wonderful!

I adore Totoro!

My friend bought me back one from Japan and I screamed for ages! And ran around in a circle.
i think he thought i was having a fit.

These are gorgeous paintings, must have taken alot of patience to get them so precise.

Well done!

Lucky baby!

Thanks! some of the colour blocks have 5 coats of paint on them, and all the black lines i painted over 3 times to get them nice and even. It takes a long time, but I can't stand it when it looks streaky. Smiley

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Can not tell you how much I love this! SO CUTE!!! I am seriously flabbergasted at how amazing they look and how adorable they all are. And this isn't my Miyazaki bias talking, these are seriously wonderful.

I love them! I wish I had a set to go in my room too. I love all of Miyazakis movies and Totoro is one of my favorites <3
