Being an electrical engineer I absolutely loved those booties:

I showed them to a coworker and she gave me conductive thread for my birthday and made me promise to make a pair for my little boy.

I didn't follow the instructions on craftzine but used my favorite bootie pattern instead:

Those are AWESOME!  What material did you use to make them?  I think I"m going to try them!! - but not with leather as I've never sewn with it before.

They are made from cotton fabric and lined with fleece. I also added a felt inner sole.
