Well, i can completely understand you, craftydame, when you say it's hard to name that kind of relationship. I've lived an experience quite similar to yours; no physical abuse, "just" a person that (intentionally or not) puts you down in everything, so you stop loving yourself at all. I lost many friends becaus of a 4 year story like that, i lost confidence, and i was totally cut out from the outside world. So I still don't know how to deal with it. I feel bad if i call it "domestic abuse" but...it was. The scarring is real even if it's not visible. (And about "not visible" my actual boyfriend could talk a lot...for him it's perfectly visible).

Anyway, good piece. Love the colors and the satin stitch in the heart.

This is really beautiful Smiley I love how you have changed the usual saying to be more appropriate. I have just recently come out of an emotionally abusive relationship. Where I was controlled and thrown abuse at. So this really hits home. I'm 21 and the original saying was being taught when I was younger and I have even regretably heard my younger cousins say it.

Is happy to do personal swaps Smiley
