i'm sure they are hotglued and i think that jack head is a lindt truffle but not sure.

You are right. It is a Lindt truffle.  I don't know if you have the grocery store Albertsons but that is where I bought them.  You could also use halloween individually wrapped taffy and draw a smiley face on it if you can't find the truffles.  I did hot glue it with a low temp glue gun.
