I was cold and starving the other night, and whipped up some yummy soup. It's pretty darn basic, I made a quick stock with onion, celery, carrot, and a chicken breast. After straining out the old veggies, I shredded the chicken meat and simmered a little carrot and celery. And I made homemade egg noodles, yum! I like to throw in some fresh parsley, but I was out, so some dried did the trick.

Yummmy.
I made some of this for dinner tonight also, with left over chicken.
I of course used store bought egg noodles though. I love the idea of making your own!

Ooo, home made noodles!  I've got to try that sometime.  I usually just make my chicken soup noodle-free (I don't know, I'm weird.  It gives my mother fits, lol) but if I made my own...

I'm going to have to make this again, I have some frozen egg noodles in the freezer. I've never tried them before, (store bought frozen kind) but one of the food blogs I read recommends them!
