A hoodie made from a Burda pattern:

The lining used to be one of my t-shirts:

together with a matching toy elephant:

Baby bunting:

For this I made the pattern myself and I guess I could post it if anyone is interested.

These are so cute! well done. I'm curious though...how would you change a diaper if the baby's wearing the bunting? would you take it completely off or is there an opening at the bottom that doesn't show up?

This one does not have an opening. I made it just as an additional layer for when I took him outside. I wanted to make sure the bunting is not to bulky. That way we could wear him froggy style in the Mei Tai even when the weather was colder.

Those are both awsome!  I love the fabric you chose to line the jacket with.  I also think your fabric choices for the bunting are very sharp.  I used to go out of my way to find cool knit prints for my older son and then I realized that I really like solids better most of the time.

Btw, if you wanted to make it easy for diaper changes, you could just lengthen the placket a few inches, or, even easier, extend it down to the seam at the bottom and sew it into the seam, so you would be starting w two separate front pieces.

Yes, I think extending it to the seam would make sewing a lot easier and allow diaper changes.

Well, it might take some days until I get to it but I try do post it within the next few weeks. If you don't mind I follow rubidoux's suggestion and post an option that opens all the way.
