Take one thrift shop blazer; good fabric a must! + mis-matched vintage buttons, ribbon & a sequined applique in the same colour scheme. Snip, rip & stitch, trying on frequently to get that perfect snug fit.

=my fav new clothing item: a cute shrunken blazer.

Sorry no tutorial, just an excerpt from my journal. Every jacket is different. I kept all the edges rough ( I will rue the day when this rough, deconstructed look is no longer in vogue & I will actually have to learn to sew!) & used a zig-zag stitch in constrasting blue thread around all the outside edges for a decorative effect, as well as for keeping the edges from fraying.

Eeep! That is very very purdy.
Did you change the sleeves in any way? all the old blazers I ever seem to find have huuuge sleeves that you could easily fit both arms in!
