For some reason, I've been going crazy decorating the inside of my house, but sorta neglected my doorway, which is where all the happy little trick or treaters will show up. I saw a fabulous feather wreath at Target, but it was just a little bit plain.  So, I made my own!

I found a wreath form at my local crafty store, and wrapped it with two black feather boas. Then I tied on a cute sign & ornaments, stuck in some fake black flowers, and stitched up some embroidered lace to dress it up.

Here's a closeup of the cool gothic lace. If I had the patience I'd stitch up enough of these to take over a wreath.

So now it's sittin' on my door, all ready for my first trick or treaters! I'm so excited for Halloween this year.

Thats awesome! Did you make the lace skulls and bats? If so, how? Skulls, bats, and lace are some of my favorite things and I am in love with yours. They're beautiful!

Absolutely gorgeous, beats the pants off the big old plastic skeleton we've got on our door!
How did you make the lace? Not by hand?!...

Oh no! They're machine embroidery designs. Goodness I couldn't imagine hand embroidering those. It would be cool to see though.
