It took alot for me to even begin this - to consider and then decide to enter, and then to find an image - nothing seemed to fit. I found a site of sketch drawings by Montana Knox - I chose this one based on a question I asked myself,  " In the end, how did I feel?"

I didn't have the option of running or hiding; I had to face it head on. My situation tested every fiber of my being- physically, spiritually, and mentally- I was drained.

This sums it up. It's not pretty, it's not cute. It is what is. It's what I was, but not who I am.

Majority is done with a stem stitch, with back stitch here and there.
C+C appreciated. Thanks for looking  Smiley

I like that you asked yourself the question and then found the image to answer it.  It's hard to put an image with a feeling sometimes...thank you for posting.  I love the blue color of the wings....very pretty!

This great.  And even though it stems from a very ugly situation, your piece is quite lovely.  Very nice job!
