1. I've read the bottles thread, and searched for things online, but I can't find anything that really catches my interest.
All the ideas for plastic bottles aren't my kind of thing, the best thing I've found is cutting off the bottoms of the bottles which makes it look like a flower kind of thing, which I'm intending to decorate my garden with.
BUT, most of the bottles I have are green tea bottles, so they have a different sort of bottom, so I can't use them for that so I need... Some useful ideas ^___^ (By useful I mean something that I can use around the house or something)

2. Seashells, I LOVE walking along the beach collecting shells, they're just so beautiful. But I can't find much to do with them... I was thinking about selling some of my collection online, but I don't know about customs and stuff... Then again at the same time I don't really wanna get rid of things...

3. Medical supplies! My fiance is a nurse, so he brings things home in his pockets that I'l love to use for crafty things!!

4. A box of floppy disks that my fiance got free from his scholarship, I wanted to make a scrapbook cover out of them because they're awesome Cheesy, but I have a bunch leftover, what to do? What to do?

Thanks for reading! I hope to find some awesome ideas!

Have you seen those seashell mirrors and other things covered by them! I think they make a great texture to almost anything!

Well, you could make something like this with the floppy disks.

There's a thing that you can do with plastic bottles.  If you cut down the side of them to open them up, and lay them flat out.  Then cut a spiral and start winding it around from the outside in, you can make plastic roses.  I saw this once, but I don't remember where.  They had used paper, but you can do it with plastic soda bottles.

Sorry, I just had to reply because of my reaction when I saw a thumbnail pic of this post on the front page of Craftster.  I thought you were holding up a pregnancy test.  When I started to read the post, this is what I found..."3. Medical supplies! My fiance is a nurse, so he brings things home in his pockets that I love to use for crafty things!!"  I was rolling on the floor when I realized you weren't actually using someone else's pregnancy test stick for your own crafting.   Cheesy

OMG I THOUGHT IT WAS TOO!!

(a pregnancy test, that is..)

as for helpful ideas, um.... i've always loved bottle trees.. and there's always wind chimes.. or melting them (you know, like, into cheese boards? i know i've seen them somewhere..)..

though, now that i read back over your original post, those ideas really REALLY work better with glass bottles...

I have an idea for you for the shells...we do this a lot where I live.

Find a nicely shaped clear glass jar and invest in one of those lamp kits they sell at the craft stores.  Put all your shells, sea glass and little fossils in there and make yourself a sweet little boudoir lamp!
