i was searching around the site yesterday try to get ideas for christmas gifts and came across the jordy bag http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=32204. needless to say, it had to be made. i used a really stiff interfacing and sewed all of the edges so it's able to stand up. i used an elastic loop to close it and as soon as i find a button, i'll sew it on so the bag can be closed. it was so easy, i may have to make another one. it'll just depend on how much interfacing i can find.

Holy smokes! First, it totally rocks - love the bright fabric. Second, you made it in one day. As a newbie sew mama, I'm just hoping someday to get such mad skills!

Thanks for the inspiration

it took about 2 hours from climbing in the attic to get the interfacing to taking the picture. it really is a fast and easy project that would have gone faster if i hadn't sewn the edges. her tute is very simple to follow and she goes into more detail on her website http://patterns.jordynnmackenzie.com/

you should try this!!!

i'm not sure since it was from my stash in the attic and i don't remember when i bought it, but it was very stiff and could stand up on it's own. sorry i can't be more help.  Undecided
