I made this coat the other day from a large shapeless wool reject I got at my local the thrift shop. Will post more pics when my camera battery finishes charging. I forgot to take pics of what it looked like before I revamped it but to give you an idea it was a men's large with no pockets or shoulder flaps. I basically used it for the wool! Nothing about the design was appealing except for the shoulder seams and armhole settings. I redid the collar for a more sculpted look, made it form fitted with darts, added the shoulder flaps and new buttons, hemmed it at a desirable length.

That is so nice!  I love the shoulder flaps.  It has a bit of a military feel now, which I really like.  Great job!!

That is incredible.  Was the coat felted, r did you felt it?  (I can't tell if it is or not)  I love the details and all the buttons.
