So, for halloween I want to be a Zombie Survivor (with a cat tail and ears, I always wear those for Halloween)
However, whenever I google Zombie Survivor,
I only get guides and survival kits and the such.
Or zombie costume/make up.

I am NOT interested in the make up.
I only want a costume for a zombie survivor.
I was thinking something like everyday wear,
with a little blood here and there, and some rips/tears.

Do you guys have any other ideas?

Also, I live in Washington State.
Can I walk around with a large toy gun?

maybe you could use ideas from these current zombie movies - based on the characters that survived....
~Resident Evil - several different outfits to choose from Milla Jovovich
~Shawn of the dead
~28 days later
~I am Legend
~Land of the Dead
~Dawn of the Dead
~Quarantine

try and fuse some of those aspects together - defiantly have dirt and maybe dried up blood- debris in hair/ outfit.... and carry a hitting device- paddle, baseball bat, anything  (remember guns run out of bullets!!!) ....you could possibly create a bag that looks like a book maybe with "Zombies for Dummies: How to Survive an outbreak" or maybe a backpack with "survival items" - camping backpack with a rolled up blanket, flashlight, etc.
Hope this helps

Ok, roughly looking there are three types of zombie survivors.

- the normal ones, wearing regular clothes and sometimes a weapon.
- the sand ones, wearing mostly brown and sometimes red. They're a little more sophisticated and often female.
- The black leather ones Tongue like the action movie type of guys.

Things that go for zombie survivors tend to be. Army backpacks (duffelbag style), fingerless gloves, a big belt with lots of little bags and pockets and something on your head; headband, bandana, cap etc. And 9 out of ten times they wear lots of layers.

i second the zombie movie idea.  dress as a specific zombie movie survivor maybe.  zombie land just came out,  its pretty funny and might give you some ideas as well.

just pretend there are zombies, and grab what ever you think you might need to survive !  good luck.

Well your clothes should be ripped. Nothing baggie because surviving a zombie attack you've learned baggie clothes are easier to snag thus giving a chance for zombies to eat you. Also you should have some sort of knife with you.

What about if you get one of those fake dismembered arms or hands and attach it to your clothes somewhere is if a zombie tried to grab you, but you ran off and its hand detached and came away with you?  You know, cuz zombies are rotting and falling apart?

Check out the Zombie Squad they are the most likely people I'd think to survive a zombie outbreak.
