Here in upstate NY, the winters get a bit cold especially if you are a 9 lb. dog without an ounce of fat and only a light coating of fur.  I have gone into many of the chain pet stores but I refuse to pay the price they ask for these cold weather clothes.  I found the answer to my problem in the pattern section of the nearest fabric store.  The pattern is from Simplicity #3939.

Butterfly

Periwinkle (though in pics it looks more blue)

Enjoy and have a great day!

Adorable! Will she walk in it? My dog will only wear those coats that strap around the belly but I have to wonder if that provides any warmth at all because his belly is exposed!

What a beautiful IG. I miss mine... my other half is allergic, my mom got custody of mine. Sad

Mine has the belly open blankets too, but she'll curl up under any blanket you've got and snuggle right up against your butt. Then she also has a Collie to cuddle up to as well. Cheesy

I love the suits. I'm sure that's one warm IG. Cheesy

Thanks for all the kind words!

gigglygirl- She loves clothes.  She walks, runs, plays, and sleeps in her clothes.  She gets so excited when I have a shirt of hers in my hand.  I call her the clothes hound Smiley.

erdbeerblau- I first put her head in, then her front legs, and then her hind legs.
