I took an adult education class at our local college to learn stained glass. The class was great and I can't wait to get the tools I need to make many more pieces!

Sadly it isn't sunny today so this pic will have to do.

Here is a pic of it laying on my table. I was trying to show my soldering.

I just need to get some chain and get it attached so I can hang it!

Its beautiful, AI.  How fun to take a stained glass class.  If you ever want to practice a squirrel suncatcher and dont know what to do with it when youre done, I can give you hints  Tongue

I love the textured clear glass in it!  Good job on your first piece!  Be careful...that glass work can get addicting!   Cheesy

I love it so much. That purple ribbon like glass is just beautiful.
Added it to my faves.

Teaching a child not to step on a caterpillar is as valuable to the child as it is to the caterpillar.

i really like this, you did a good job.  Reminds me of going to the park and flying kites, because it looks like pieces of fabric flying in the wind.
