i am going to nyc for my birthday and my friend and i are going to see the broadway production of the Addams Family! one of my favs growing up and after looking at pictures from the show i decited i wanted to dress like i belonged there so i made this hat.



the little skulls on there if you can see them i made from sculpy and antiqued with brown acrilic paint. here is a pic of the hole outfit put togeather. i also made the spats, you can find a tute for them at threadbanger.com just type spats into the search engine.

Beautiful Sis!! I would suggest Tea Dying the Spats, it'll give them a more Addams vibe.  Love the hate, will mone be just as purdy??  And Wow you're hair is getting long.  You should curl it into tiny ringlets so you look like a dollie!!

thats how i was thinking of doing it accually! but cant make up my mind. and yes yours will be just as perdy but do you want that style or an accuall pill box hat....or both! this kind is super easy and fast so i could totally make you both only you would want to pick out another color i would think, unless you want two leopard hats. OOOOO i could make you one like this that is purple and lime or something
