This pumpkin serves a dual purpose...celebrating Halloween and Breast Cancer Awareness Month!  I think this would make for a great gift or a cute display idea at a Relay for Life-type walk to raise awareness.  They were really super easy to make and you can whip them up in no time at all.  They would also send a message on a front porch stoop that's a little different and inspiring this Halloween season.  Anyway, thought I would share.  I featured this little project on my blog and have a little more info on there... http://swelldesigner.blogspot.com/2009/10/breast-cancer-awareness-pumpkins.html

Those are awesome! My neighbor is in charge of the Relay for Life in our area, and I will have to suggest this idea to her, as they are having one at the end of the month.

Your pumpkins are really cute!

In my area - we have what we call "The Pink Pumpkin Project."  It was a fundraiser/contest for the Relay For Life.  All the pumpkins are painted or decorated with a breast cancer theme.  It was really fun to see what people came up with!

I'll have to post my pumpkin! Smiley
