Hi all!  I am in need of some help.  I have decided to make a mattress.  I have figured out how to put the whole thing together and decided that if I was going to do this it would be nice to use the old fashioned blue stripe ticking.  Here is where the problem comes in.  I am making a queen size mattress so I need at least 63 inch wide fabric.  I could do a seam down the middle, but I'd rather not.  Do any of you know where I can get ticking in that width?  When I google all I get is curtains. lol  Thanks!

Thanks for the link!  They didn't have what I'm looking for, but I do need wide fabric for some other projects, so that worked out good anyway! Smiley

These people have a plain white ticking 63" wide.  I have found more online shops that have wide ticking, but all are in the UK.  Or are Chinese bulk exporters.  The most usual ticking seems to be 54" though.

Thanks soorawn, I found that one too. Smiley  I always find what I'm looking for from UK shops and Chinese importers.  One day I'm gonna figure out how to get my hands on that stuff! lol

I ended up finding some ticking for $3.50/yd, it's still not the width I wanted, but for that price I'll do a seam down the middle!  It's http://www.periodfabric.com/default.htm if any one's interested.   They have some fabrics for less than that, but I'm picky. Smiley
