Aw you have the same color doxies as mine Smiley We just found out our 7 year old doxie is incotinent, yeah talk about a pee monster, try having one that doesnt even know when she is peeing. Luckily they have meds for it so no more wetting the bed. It sounds like there is actually enough interest for just a doxie swap but if a small dog swap is preferred then thats cool too.

Well, if this swap does happen, I'll make doggie diapers for yours. Smiley

haha aw thank you! She is actually doing better, no wetting the bed and a lot less pee to clean up in the house. We thought it was just her being a doxie but it got worse and worse so I finally took her in. Poor thing, the got attacked by the pit bull next door, had to get stitches and her hair shaved off, had to get all her shots, and now this all in the past month. We adopted her when she was 5 so we dont know anything about her past but she was rescused from the street weighing 6.5 lbs, every bone showing and tears in her ears. She is our little fighter to say the least.

HeyVern's doxies are so cute and plump-they dont have the concave bellies like most do.
my mom feeds our Franky constantly, so he looks more like a potbellied pig than a dog. so cute and cuddly though...

HeyVern - your doxies are adorable!!

When would you guys want to do this swap? I know there is another dog swap in progress right now. Should we wait until that's over or would you rather start sooner?

Maybe wait till that one is over? I am in that one now, I am sure some of the others would want to join this one as well after its over. Do we have an organizer yet?

I agree. It looks like sendouts for the ongoing dog swap are beginning of November. Perhaps we can wait until mid-Nov to start ours? I'm happy to organize although I'll have to check the swap rules. I've only been in two swaps so I'm not sure I qualify Smiley.

I agree - it's really fun seeing everyones pup pix! Our little guy is a chocolate and tan dapple. My favorite part of his coloring is the little heart shape on his forehead Smiley.
