Well there's your problem, crocheting in a wet paper bag is a bad idea.  It's dark, uncomfortable and the damp is bad for the wool.  Try a well-lit comfy chair.

So anyway people, this swap is rapidly drawing to a close.  To those of you who haven't posted pictures yet, hop to it!  We are waiting to ooh and ahh over your stuff.  To everyone else, thank you for your awesome randomness.  I'm going to use the show pictures only button and look through this gallery again.  There will probably be wisting.  Good work everyone.

I'm in the wet paper crochet bag too and am beyond impressed with that star!! Holy crochet hooks - that stuff is all AWESOME!

Yeah...I can take a crochet hook and some yarn and get as far as a long chain.  Never have tried doing it a wet bag, though.   But I so lucked out with dreadlocklove because she is a terrific crocheter.  My hubby saw the mushroom and star and said, "Now that's the kind of stuff I'd be in for."  He admired crafts!!!  You have no idea what a big deal that is!   So, in other words, NICE package. 

And is anybody else feeling sort of shell shocked that this swap is nearly over??  It seems like it's taken up half of my year.   Yeah...I know, not quite...but I was in on the original discussion, so it has been three months for me.

Figured since we're almost done, I'll post a pic of the tote that I made for rednightsky86. She forgot to get a pic because she mentioned she was already used it. The only shot I have is a group shot but you can still get a look at it anyway. It's the Hyrule symbol from Zelda and it was quite a feat for me since I don't normally make stencils and do fabric painting.
