This may not happen, since I have had major surgery on my shoulder.

i was away for the weekend, and my husband called to tell me my package was here!
he then proceeded to ask if he could open it (ack, as if!)...
so when i got home today, that was the first thing on my to-do list. Smiley
and QueenNinjaMonkey did a great job!

the first thing in the box was this lovely pillow, inspired by my wists; and the artic fox is sooo soft, i just wanna snuggle...

then there was a hollow book, with tape measure bracelets and resin/bottlecap magnets (good thing, my fridge needs some lovin...)

she also sent me a mini jar of whimsies! great minds think alike, right?

here's an xbox-themed embroidery piece, cuz we share a love of gaming...

and a cute birdie tote with an original QNM embroidery kit!

then there was a a painted mug, inspired by the cover of my favorite book, and a jar of almond cookie/brown sugar body scrub(mmm, can't wait to try it out...).

and the final piece was a wist-inspired finger-stache, which i love...

QueenNinjaMonkey, thanks for everything, I love it!!

Your finger moustache is funny, and I love the birdie tote bag. I had to wist it.

I received from saintvier today! Ya'll are not going to believe this, but this is her first swap! She sent a really super package - here go the photos:

Everything all neatly wrapped up:

There are salmon treats for my cats, and chocolate chai for me! Yum!

Carnivorous plant stamp and printed cards - I love carnivorous plants!

Two sea slug (nudibranch) carved stamps (plus a card with stamped envelope):

Three ATCs from my favorite place, Maryland!

These have the Maryland state bird (oriole), state sport (jousting), and state cat (calico).

acrylic cuttlefish painting - yay for cephalopods Smiley

an amazing block print of a ship being attacked by a tentacled sea beast! how cool is this?

Two cool, huge photographs of tree tags from her great-grandfather's farm - sorry I didn't get a good pic of these, my apartment is really dark.

Bonus supplies - a linoleum block and some fancy papers!

And a post-action shot of Kahlua after having some salmon treats - he was hoping that more would fall from the sky Smiley

Thanks so much, saintvier!

I love those stamps (though the whole package is just awesome)!  I know it's been said before, but I am so amazed by all the great stuff in this gallery, it is an impressive bunch of super talented people.

I'm glad you liked everything, and that your cats enjoy the treats! (I'm also glad the print & photos didn't get banged up on the way there--I was a little worried!)
