Oh good I'm glad everything got there safely (nothing's breakable and I still worried that it would arrive damaged  Undecided ) The bracelet is a crocheted slip stitch rope. The two purses are the joint craftster effort I Pm'd you about - I got them as UFO's in another swap a few years ago (part of a great package) and I finished them off  because the colors were just perfect for you. And IIRC the blue/pink yarn started life as one of Lapoli's dyed rovings.

I got my package from Melissa! today, and it is fantastic.  Here's the whole thing, after I pulled everything out of the blue starry paper she'd wrapped it in:

We have: a swallow embroidered in buttons, a cool branchy scarf, a t-shirt with birds stenciled on it, a stack of handmade paper, a mini collar/scarf thing, a (huge!) pot holder/hot pad crocheted from recycled t-shirt strips, and... well, you'll see my favorite thing in the detail shots:

close-up of the bird.  I think this is going up on our bedroom wall; it's quite gorgeous.  Also some of the scarf (I really like how the variegated yarn came out here) and one of the bird stencils on the shirt.

the paper (pretty!) and the mini-scarf.  I think I may move the buttons over a little; it fits just a little bit snugly.  But... this is something I thought seemed like a cute idea & fashion accessory, and then I tried it on and realized it makes anything into an instant turtleneck.  Brilliant!  I will definitely be wearing this a lot this winter.

And, my favorite part:  the felt tree stuffie.  (Do trees count as stuffies?)  The funny thing is that I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year, and the novel I'm writing is about two different forests, so it's very timely.  Right now it's sitting by my computer to give me inspiration.    Wink

(and a second picture-- this is closer to the real colors, even though it is badly back-lit)

Thank you so much, Melissa-- this is definitely one of the best swap packages I've gotten!   Grin
