I received my package from ptarmic wumpus yesterday, and it's amazing!

Here's everything out of the box but before I unwrapped anything. I approve of the reused wrappings! And now I have extra plastic bags to use for my little trash can, too!


She made these really awesome hairpins. I'd told her how much I loved steampunk, and I'm an English major and love Scrabble, so both pairs are perfect!


She sent a lot of leather-working and sewing supplies because I said I was interested in learning.


Coraline thinks something is suspicious about these books...


Gasp! They're purses! I can't wait until the next meeting of the English majors club, because I will inspire envy in all who see me.


A really rockin' sushi oven mitt (now I don't have to use towels anymore!) and a pair of Sheep Blue's awesome octopus earrings


A gorgeous nuno felted scarf--it's silk gauze and merino wool, and the wool matches a pashmina I have perfectly.


On top of all that, she felted a Turkish rug with one of Alphonse Mucha's Art Nouveau pieces. ptarmic wumpus knew that I loved Art Nouveau, but what she didn't know is that I love it (and Mucha) so much that I'm actually dressing as a Mucha painting for Halloween! So this is basically perfect

Niiiiiiiiiiice package!  I love the fishy card, and the book purses. That sushi mitt is pretty awesome too.

Glad you like it, saintvier! The floor mat is hand washable, btw, if I forgot to mention; the felting process is quite abusive, so it can take a lot of wear
