I live in a really old farm house that has no insulation, so for warmth at night I made my doggie a crate cover!

the crate with the front flap down

My Jack mix Chulita checking it out. She seems to like it, it keeps her toasty warm!

Its fleece on the inside, flannel on the outside with batting in the middle for extra warmth.

C&C Welcome!

What an excellent idea! That fabric is soo cute.

I just put an old (9mos old) all cotton rug I had in my dogs crate, it was super thick and she chews up her blankets so hopefully that will kill 2 birds with one stone.

Haha yeah, before we just had a folded up quilt over it. the fabric on the flap is my favorite, its all these bully breeds and mastiffs and stuff lifting weights. hahaha

I love this!  I have two Boston's and would like to make this for their crate (they share).  Where did you find the pattern?

I love that fabric! Good idea on using it to keep your baby warm.

I was really stoked to make a crate cover for my dobie when we decided to kennel train her. Unfortunately she destroyed her kennel before I could do so. Oh well one more cute accessory I didn't get to make.
