I never thought I'd be interested in quilt making, until I was writing a freelance article on the history of quilts a while ago.  Of course, that got me all excited to try it, much to my hubby's dismay!  (for some reason, he thinks I have too many hobbies...  Roll Eyes )

Anyway, fast forward a few weeks, and here it is, finished!  I used 1boy1girl1kitty2's tutorial here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=305294.0  It is a little bigger than lap sized, I think.  There is a huge mistake on the back, but I just won't show off that part!  Grin

Pictures!  The front, laid out flat:

And showing a bit of the back:

Thanks for looking!

Great autumn colors! I usually have to remind myself that only I know the mistakes on each quilt I make, even though it drives me nuts that they aren't perfect.

Beautiful! I was also inspired to quilt by reading (and writing) about quilts.  Read Alice Walker's "Everyday Use" if you haven't already.  You'll love it.

Great quilt!
