I made this dress for 4-H this year.  It was way harder than expected since I had to rework the skirt to use the bottom of the eyelet.  I'm really happy with how it turned out though!

This year I got nominated for homecoming royalty at my school, so I wore this dress to the community pep-assembly.  Noone could believe I made it myself! Cheesy

Here's some not so specific pictures.

Here's some more, closer pictures.  Isn't the model lovely Wink

Thanks so much for looking, comments welcome!

It looks good from afar, and I love your shoes. Any chance we could see a close up?

That looks great on you! Do you like the 4-h program? I have heard it does a great job of teaching sewing.

Thank you skyeclothing  Smiley

The shoes were on sale at Target for $7.00!  Basically made my day.

Anyways, the pattern is an "Easy Stitch 'n Save" by McCalls, number 5292.  Those are the ones you pick up at Walmart for way cheap.  It went together really well, the only things i didn't like is that they didn't suggest the skirt be lined, and I much prefer invisible zippers, but those things are easily changed  Smiley  I would suggest the pattern.
