It feels like forever since I last posted on here!
I didn't get a chance to get pics before I sent out to my partner but she sent me a photo of my favorite thing I made - this pouch/DS holder thing with a portrait of Neville and a quote from the book. I was running out of time so I had to paint the letters on instead of stitch them. I love the way Neville turned out though, he is soo under-appreciated!

I knew exactly who it was from the thumbnail on the front page.  LOVE Neville.  You did a really great job on this!

Knitting goal for 2011: knit 500,000 stitches.  24,078/500,000 knit.  I think I'm going to need more yarn...

It really does look like him. I could tell it was Neville from the thumbnail too. Also one of my favourite characters.

Great use of shading in the face!  You really captured his features.  Nice!

Awesome job on the stitching, the likeness is great! Also the painted words work well.

I actually love the way you've used a combination of black and flesh tones for the outline of Neville's face and neck - its so effective!

Love this project. Its just plain awesome.
