seriously, they are one of my fave animals, i don't know whether to squeal with delight at the cuteness, or be horrified from the teeth and claws Wink

I'd probably have a heart attack if I looked under my porch and saw one of those guys.

not much chance of that, they only live on a tiny island in madagascar Smiley

here's my ultra fabulous, super creative, way cool dark alice card from gossamer_gull....

it's called "the punishment for eating currant cakes that don't belong to you" and it's FOUR cards long!!  Shocked

ok--a very dark and disturbing image indeed--but a very clever way to create an ATC piece!  and the image of Alice is marvelous!

i suggest you all check out the aye aye, they are the weirdest animal of all! it looks like a bat, rat, monkey, cat thing with some demon mixed in Smiley

Ok, I'm just not seeing the "cat" part in there.  The demon part shows up pretty well, though, doesn't it?

Loving the Alice card (My SIL is naming her yet-to-be-born daughter after Alice)

That pic of the aye-aye (and the description) look like one of my cats (except she's furrier)

i am speechless about the aye aye!  Cheesy

here is the steampunk-themed card i sent to Singalala:

so many different elements in this card...the hot air balloon is from a silk shirt; i have a big WIP involving the majority of the shirt's fabric.  Cool the fabric print does include a basket under the balloon, but i wanted more dimension so i sewed the woven metal over it.

I'm living/working in Yosemite Nat'l Park til further notice! Blogging about it here. No swapping for me, and minimal crafting time, for the coming months. Graduated from library school! That sums things up for now.

calluna--your attention to details amaze me!  I am so glad you got a pic...that is one intricate card--so much on so a little space--it tells a wonderful story as well!
