I picked up some placemats at the dollar store intending to make a purse, but inspirations struck by way of my hubby who took one look at them and said they reminded him of a pink plaid skirt I already owned. So, I grabbed a third placemat and decided it should be a skirt instead. I love when my odd sense of creativity rubs off on him. I never really seeing things as what they are, but what I could make out of them. Ok, now onto the pics.

That's fantastic, and so creative!  I know what you mean about creativity rubbing off.  Some of my best projects have been ones where my husband has had input.  I really never would have thought "skirt" when I saw those placemats, I am so impressed.
