That is FANTASTIC news!  Congratulations!  You'll have to take before/after pics and post it. Smiley  I am so flattered that I was able to play a part in convincing your boyfriend to liven up the place.  What color(s) will you guys paint?

well, we're probably going to go with a color similar to yours...the boy is terrified of bright colors, so we'll definitely end up with some kind of neutral.  i think he can't visualize how colors will look on a wall--i picked out tons of samples when he bought it, but he just kind of recoiled with fear.  yours is an example of a color that works, so that's not scary!  i'll pm you if i end up posting pics, so you can see the room you inspired!

That looks fresh!  How about painting the cabinets a semi-gloss black?!!  And paint the medicine cabinet the same color as the walls.

The little "seats" in your sinks kind of confuse me though.

They're for bars of soap. At least, in my bathroom they are.

I love your new bathroom. And I'm definitely voting for the dark brown cabinets.  Grin

I literally cringed when I saw the carpet. HAHA. But seriously though, what a GORGEOUS job you did. I showed my boyfriend (we're getting a house in August) and he approves as well. We both particularly love the Mississippi mud paint!

I love your floor!! So much better than carpet, who puts carpet in the bathroom anyway? I would not paint the cabinets white but that's just because I think white isn't a color its a base.
