You've done an awesome job. Those are fantastic! Do they make noise when you open the door? It might be neat to add a jingle bell at the bottom. lol, i just like to know when someone comes in and out. How did you make them?

better??  these are gorgeous!!!  I decorate Christmas ornaments like this myself, but I've never used bugle beads.  I might just have to try this out for myself!

Thank you  Smiley

I love the bell idea, may have to add them to my next one!  They are just done with a fairly basic stringing technique, really easy to make

LOVE these!  My mom used to beg me yearly for beaded ornaments, they are so fun to make and you did a beautiful job.  Smiley

Very pretty! I don't have any advice on how to make them look better - they look great to me!

I'm guessing that if you make more of them you'll find little variations on your own to play around with though.
Happy beading!

Very cute! I have a book (really more of a fairly cheap pamphlet, maybe LeisureArts?) on beaded ornaments and it's really fun. Except for when I work for a couple hours and am almost done and break the darned thing!

Another way to make them a bit different is to buy clear or frosted white ornaments, pop off the hanger, and pour in a swirl of acrylic paint. Shake it around until the inside is coated how you like it and then leave it upside down to dry in an empty egg carton, and then bead the outside of it.
