Phew! Just completed my latest blanket, and it felt like I had knitted a bajillion bobbles around the border.
Based on the log cabin knitting technique, I adapted the pattern as I wanted it to have a stained glass feel. I was going to knit lots of tiny squares around the edge sandwiched between two black borders but my knitting buddy persuaded me to go with the bobbles. Let's just say that after 10 hours spent sewing in the ends of the bobbles (not counting knitting them) it's a labour of love!

HO-ly crap!  Good for you for posessing patience that I will never posess.  And skill, did I say skill?

If it had grown up, it would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig, I think.

Thanks everyone for their comments. I really apprecite the feedback and it gives me ideas for the next project! If you haven't tried log cabin knitting , go on, give it a go. It is a lot easier than it may look
