Hi all,

This wasn't a huge project but I was inspired by lots of things.
1. I love anything old fashioned and wrapping paper is no exception, so I usually wrap my presents in brown paper (it reminds me of the good old days), also it's very cheap.
2. The Sound of Music...a classic! #Brown Paper Packages tied up with string#, although I didn't use string here I usually do, it looks good.
3. A post on crafster I saw aaages ago that includes a great tutorial. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=247280.0. Thank you.

Anyway, enough of my babble, onto the pics  Smiley

The whole lot, I'm good at wrapping things that are square but rubbish at anything that isn't, after struggling for a while I decided to make the little gift bag for the awkward pressie.

I know it's not the most exciting post ever but I'm still pretty happy with it (and my Granddad loved the bow)

Thanks for looking  Cheesy

I love wrapping in brown paper, too.  Any bow or ribbon looks just that much more festive against it and it's fun to stamp.  I love how you took it all the way.  I can't help but think what a great way to wrap Adult Only gifts... you know, the kind that come in a "plain brown wrapper."  Wink

Great packaging.  I love the brown paper bows on there.  It looks like simple elegance.

Wow, with the bows those gifts actually look very elegant. Most wrapping paper is so unnecessary and tacky, it's great when people get creative with wrapping! I miss getting gifts wrapped in the funnies. Maybe for wrapping more adult themed gifts, you could use the section of the newspaper with those sketchy escort service/call girl ads?

This is SO NEAT!!  Love the bows too.  I can imagine endless possibilities after the basic wrap.  Thanx.
