It's been a while since I've posted, I've been so busy >_<   I thought I would share some of the smaller kanzashi flowers I've made...

wonderful.  I've made a few with 100% cotton (calico), but what sort of fabric do you recommend?

Thanks!  Smiley  To answer robingal1, you can use any fabric you like, so long as it isn't too thick.  It really depends on what kind of look you're going for, and your personal preference.  I personally like working with Japanese fabrics (chirimen), and silk dupioni, so that's mainly what I use.  For the flowers in this post, I used duchess satin, silk dupioni, and cotton.

The pumpkin one is great for Halloween!  All of them are very beatiful.  I'm learning how to make these but not so good yet.  I would like me and the bride's maid to wear these in our hair with the falls at my wedding.
