i wanted to embellish onesies for our niece's first birthday gift but couldn't find any plain colours with no designs on the front.

saw the cameo style first over at designmom.com (i think) and tried my own.
for the yoyos i used this tute http://heatherbailey.typepad.com/photos/how_to_make_a_yoyo/hbyoyotutorial1.html

i hope the baby likes them
i think i'll make some more yoyos and sew them onto a singlet for my self.

How cute!  The cameo is really unique - to me at least, I've not seen anything like that.  Very cool.

I just ran into this today, http://prettypartridge.blogspot.com/2009/05/fifteen-minute-toddler-tank.html a ruffled toddler shirt, that I'd like to try, maybe you would too.

I used to be strictly a yarn girl but now I'm teaching myself to sew.  Help! Smiley
