I know none of these are really clothes (well, there is a hairbow), but I didn't know where else to post it.

I'm 24 weeks pregnant with a little girl, and my crafting urges are becoming overwhelming. Here's some stuff that I made ... The birdie rattle and pink hairbow are from the book Sweet Booties! and the flower is from McCall pattern M5869 (bought during a Hobby Lobby 99 cent pattern sale -- I love those!).

The nursery has a garden theme, so flowers like that one will be "growing" out of the walls.

I work at a newspaper -- yeah, there are still newspapers around -- so a co-worker and I started a crafting column called "Haute Homemade." You can read more about the stuff I made here.http://www.annistonstar.com/pages/full_story/push?article-Haute+Handmade-+It-s+a+girl-+And+other+crafts+for+baby%20&id=3658064-Haute+Handmade-+It-s+a+girl-+And+other+crafts+for+baby

Congratulations on your baby girl, and I just had to say, I love your avatar!  Munchichi!  (or however you spell it)  I wish I had one of those again Smiley

I used to be strictly a yarn girl but now I'm teaching myself to sew.  Help! Smiley

Thanks, prettyfloralbonnet! I never owned a monchhichi (I think I was a little too young), but that's one of the pet names my husband gave me. I have to admit, I do kind of look like one -- if they had a mess of curly hair!
