Nah, I scrunched it up and then dyed it using coffee. Dried it out, tore it up and inked the edges. Much less chance of eveything going up in smoke!

i thought it might be coffee as well, but you got a nice blackish tone that looks like it's burned. awesome work!

If I scrunch it a lot before coffee dying the coffee pools nicely to give gradient. Also torn edges take the coffee really well. A bit of ink and you're set.

Wonderful day for mail!  I got home from a long day at work, and found a card from August's swap waiting for me and one from October!
Ffrogg526 made me this wonderful Halloween card!  I love how the ace shows!

The coffee edges look great on your card.. did you draw the picture?  It is awesome... hoping one day my cards take on a good look...

I like how the ace of spades shows through. Great concept!

Yes, I drew the grammaphone (sp?) on the card. Just greylead pencil. I love my 2B, I go through those like it's going out of fashion!

Finally got my ATC from gossamer_gull for my moveable/popup theme. My parents were supposed to send it to me at college, but kinda forgot and then finally it arrived!!! Sorry for the delay.
