I received a package from Sherrie B, UT last week but I was knocked down with pneumonia, so I didn't send yet - sending tomorrow!

Here's what I got from Sherrie -

A learn to write book for my son & some cool bowl covers

More treats for the kiddos (although I am partial to sour candy, so I will def. have to share)

My favorite - a scarf and some crocheted cloths

More goodies and crocheted slippers for me & my boy! He loves them so.

i LOOOVED swapping with you aswell, and i am soo glad the blanket was to your tastes....i flip flopped on whether to add stitching to the circles, but when i got them attached, it looked like they were apart of the back, so i had to leave them lol...

i hope you like the kit too, i tried to make it something you could use without too much other supplies

the lava cake mix as soon as I get an oven-the nifty sock/slippers & the sadly the gummy bears melted in transit, but the neighboring room had a mom that just sliced it up & let her kids have it as a treat LOL

So I don't know if you guys know my story from this swap. I saw DesignVigilante post a call for replacement partners for PersephoneHazard. I was excited because we seemed to have some things in common so I sent DV a message and was selected to be PH's replacement partner. Halfway into the swap it appeared that she was flaking And this is after I spent about $50 in shipping alone for the first two packages But alas! DesignVigilante stepped up and became MY replacement partner Which is really cool because we were partners in the very first MAF swap! She rocks!

Long story short Here's my replacement package from DesignVigilante!

She is a crochetin' and knittin' queen! A super comfy cowl, awesome market bag and amazing arm warmers! I cannot explain how much I LOVE these colors and her incredible stitchwork!





She sent several other goodies as well! A pretty ball of striping cotton yarn, a pumpkin cookie cutter (I love Halloween!), two yummy smelling bars of soap, a sugar cookie candle, a basil growing kit and cool notecards!


She also sent lots and lots of teas to try! I'm most excited about the blueberry, yum!


And last but not least, a whole baggie full of neat buttons! They are such a great size for knitted items!

Yay! I'm glad you liked everything. Thanks so much for the pics! I have a really bad habit of not taking pics before I send, especially since I was so late with your package and I packed it kind of frantically.

Local handmade soap. I love handmade soap! I have super sensitive skin, so I use handmade soap almost exclusively now.

The scarf I've been coveting ever since I met Ma Rut back in Make-a-friend round 1!! She's made one before and I've always wanted one of my own. I've gotten so many comments on this one! My hubby loved it as well

OMG those packages are so great!

Fantastic button up armwarmers. I can't knit a buttonhole to save my life!
I love that postcard, too. I might try to stitch up something similar as a Christmas gift for a friend. And I have those pink argyle socks. We can be matchies, DV. 
The Mario/Luigi scarf is awesome too.

I'm drooling over these packages.
