a smorgasbord of tops!

Ahhh, craftster, my long lost love. 

Here are some tops I've made since last we'd met.




So I thought of this idea forever ago, but I only recently got the balls to actually try to pull it off. The ribcage is appliqued in the opposite stripe pattern, so it's sort looks like an optical illusion.
Applique and knit fabric are not really meant to go together, but I managed not to totally eff it up...






I made this hoodie from some cherry/floral knit and some gingham knit. The hood was sort of a cross between and hood and a cowl.






I had this top in my head for a long time, and when I finally went to make it, I realized I didn't actually have any of the panda fabric!  Inconceivable!  Eventually I got a hold of some, though. PHEW! 




Empire waist tank with a biiiig heart pocket with some crossed popsicles. Piratey popsicles?  Yes.






Sometimes I think I can't make fancy things... but I think this turned out pretty classy, yes?  The fabric actually has little sequins all over it, so it sparkles!  This was my first time doing a mandarin style collar... I hate drafting collars!






This is probably one of my favorite tops... I named it after an old kitty we had named Bagheera. She was pretty awesome. And this is some AWESOME fabric.  Black on black animal print velour!!
